O-M-G.
Headed to suntec with limbo today to find a job. I wanted to watch New Moon but it wasn't out yet so we watched The Informant instead. It was so boring, I decided to just catch a nap after iunno, 20 minutes into the movie. Then limbo decided that it was boring too and we left. So much for a 7 dollar movie ticket. :/
Walked past Tony Romas and asked about the pay for part time.Goodness, it was so miserable. 5/h, That's about as good as macdonalds right? ( And speaking of Macs, I'm craving it nao>:/ I'm eating so much nowadays) I was really tired so we bused to Limbo's house and stayed for awhile. His mum was really nice, giving me drinks and buying us stuff to eat.
Headed home about 7 and Phyllis called to ask if I wanted to work at Addon. Hehehe, awesome la, now I don't even need to find work! I'm bringing limbo along, they say they want to interview him first. And I just found out that my dad knows Phyllis, omgwtf, this is scary :/
Anyway, I watched Singapore Idol, and I just have to say that : I'M SO FUCKIN' HAPPY THAT CHARLES IS FINALLY OUT.
( No offense to any charles 'stitch' wong's fans out there. ;-) )
OMG, I'VE WAITED FOR LONG FOR THIS DAY TO COME Y'KNOW. I seriously don't understand how someone like him can get through to the top 4. I'd pick ANY other contestant over him any day.
Cause 1, he can't even speak properly. Okay, maybe it's just me, but I have something against people who can't speak properly. It irks the hell outta me when they mispronounce words often or just can't enunciate well. I can't even make out half the words that he sings.
And 2, he reminds me of a very very very, low class chinese singaporean. Like a really ugly ahbeng or a really poor gangster wannabe. Well actually he just reminds me of W, but that's not my point. They both kind of fall in the same category.
Plus 3, everyone makes such a big deal of his beatboxing, but it's really not THAT fantastic. And if you ask me, I think it was fuckin' stupid of him to end off his Singapore Idol journey beatboxing. Just because he's the only one in the top 13 that can beatbox doesn't make him special or make his beatboxing fantastic. He just has a slight advantage which he seems to use, a hell lot.
And 4, Whenever he tries to convey his emotions in a song, his expression is comical.Mostly, I'm torn between amusement and disgust. Alright, maybe it's just his face. :/ Iunno.
And 5, What's up with the 'stitch' for a middle name. That's just fuckin' random. Like I might just start calling myself Elizabeth 'Barney' Boon.
Why do people vote for him? I just can't get it. Unless his family's rich or something, and they can afford to text in about a gazillion times during that 2 hours, I have absolutely no idea how he lasted this long. Anyho, I'm glad it's over for him.
Right now, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping the next one will be Tabitha ^^
Okay, I have work tomorrow ( Hehehehehe, damn happy la ) and I'll need to sleep soon.

I made a tumblr yesterday, and it seems awesome. But I got lazy to figure out how to set the theme to suit my whims and fancies, so I ended up deleting it :/ Right nao I'm thinking if I should create one again, cause it really seems so cuteee, :/
I just played l4d2 with my younger brother, omgosh, he was the one being the hero while I ended up screaming and panicking. What a waste of my money, srsly.
Today's been wasted. Hopefully I'll be able to find work when I go out searching tomorrow. ;-)
I'm heading to bed nao, limbo wants to meet at 10 tomorrow.
( I just told limbo about the l4d2 experience, and he's laughing his ass off at me right now. 'HAHAH REALISM.' )

In a way, I'm sort of happy that the whole IT fair is over. Gosh, the standing up part made this one helluva job to do. Not to mention the cold responses anyone can get from the customers. And now I'll never forget the famous ' I'll come back later' line which simply translates to ' You'll never see me again'.
What made the whole thing bearable was the people there and limbo who came everyday. I'm definitely no PW - I don't bounce around trying to make friends with everyone there. The four days took away my sleep and energy. :/ But I still managed to hang around with many awesome people.
There sure were bastard moments where I could roll my eyes and walk away. But it was mostly enjoyable. Even the really strict Yi Wen put her arms around me and hugged me when I broke down on the second day b'cos of some stuff. Everyone was so nice and understanding, gosh, I felt so bad :/ And Gerard told us really hilarious jokes to help us pass time. ( On a really side note, my grandma's complaining about my younger brother now as I blog, and she's starting to cry. Gosh, What am I supposed to do?! )
Plus Vikkesh and Ben whom I hung out with more, were great entertainment. The only times I slipped away from them and couldn't stand to be around was when they were raving about the girls. Goodness :/
Oh, and happy birthday Ben!;-)
Limbo sent me home all four days at night, how sweet right? I love the long bus rides with him. He's so nice to hug and sleep on.
Today was wasted, I spent the entire time sleeping. Seriously. I woke up at 1 for lunch and headed back to sleep at 3. Woke up at 6 for dinner and now here I am. My eye bags are horrible, and I'm in need of new jobs now. Anyone would care to introduce? Please and thank you;-)
There's so much more to blog about but I'm getting tired again, my whole body's aching and my throat hurts like fuck. I'll go shower and head back to bed soon.

How shitty, I just got home from a whole day of standing and talking nonstop. Any attempts to squat will be met with labelling such as 'ah lian' which I've very gladly accepted since I'm so used to it. ;-)
I've sold only 4 units so far, it's really little and this means a pay of 75 bucks for today only. Gah, what to do.
Thanks limbo for sending me home at such a late hour. Love you to bits.
I need to go bathe now, I'm so shitass tired I could fall asleep even while bathing la, I swear. ):

Y'know, I've always thought that laptops made an ideal gift. If someone was to give me an awesome laptop for Christmas this season, I would love the person to death. Really, no joke.
And my Uncle bought my Grandmother a really nice desktop for Christmas last year, it made her so happy when she opened the box and found herself staring at a really huge screen monitor. So imagine the joy on your loved one's face when he/she opens the Christmas gift and finds a stylish and powerful laptop. I know I would be grinning from ear to ear.
But most of you are probably complaining that laptops are expensive and I don't know.. out of your price range for a gift?
Well, guess what?! There's an IT fair going on this week, from 26-29th November at Expo!
I know right, what awesome timing, and just when Christmas is just around the corner. The time of joy and giving, yes. So it's time to open your very loaded wallets and start pulling out the notes.
And guess what else? I heard that Lenovo has a booth there, and their laptops are simply amazing! They have so many designs and series, it makes shopping for a perfect gift for your friends, family or even yourself so easy! It can suit your different needs, you just need to find the right person to direct you to the machine that you need most!
And this is where I come in. ;-)
Come down to expo and find me on these four days, and I promise I'll find you the perfect computer. Look out for me at the Lenovo booth. No one else but me alright!
P.S, remember to bring cash. It makes things so much more convenient for the both of us. Or at least for me. hehehe.
Today was rather shitty, quite:/
I had to wake up really early for my training around Serangoon. Headed there with Pw's two friends, whom she very happily ditched me with just for school events. It ended about 2ish, and my tummy was grumbling already. How embarrassing:/
Caught a ride in one of the guy's car to bishan and headed to cityhall to meet Limbo. Not surprisingly, he was late and some old man started talking to me about a part time job after I refused to 'buy' some pen from him for a 'businness' of some sort. I didn't know how to get rid of him and he ended up thinking that I wanted to work part time for him. I was so confused and he kept asking me to follow him around cityhall. I told him I was waiting for my friend at the control station but he kept dragging me to raffles link. He was just using me to get the guys to donate, making me shake hands with them and smile like a 'barbie doll' ( I quote him, he was full of shitty comments like ' I wish I was as beautiful as you!' and ' you're such a barbie doll' ) I got so scared that I called Limbo and I almost cried on the phone while asking him to hurry up, but he took so long to come. When he finally came, the guy stopped harassing me and told me to come back whenever I wanted to work. Ya sure, like I'd put myself near you ever again.
Had lunch at Marina and met Yoji, birthday boy!! Then bused to Amkhub and I wasted 30 bucks on Left 4 Dead for my brothers. After that trained to Bishan to meet my family but they were still watching a movie so I wasted another 70bucks on Left 4 Dead 2 for my brothers again. Goodness, I'm the fucking smartest person around la, wasting so much money on impulse. And when I headed home and handed the games to them, they announced that they preferred the PC version to the Xbox version. Good going la, fantastic. I'm the smartest girl in the whole world. 100 bucks gone just like that. One cyber clap- for the smartest girl here.
Okay I'm done ranting :/ Sorta. Bestfr wants to drag me for tomorrow's sports day. GAH! Fine, only b'cos she's my bestfr. Anyone else won't be able to drag me to that shitty event. ( But only for half an hour) I can't be bothered to stay for the whole thing. And I still need to do my hair (again) after the whole thing.
